Office Building Facade
How we did it.
A GF+3 office building in Novi Sad, constructed in 2008 with no insulation. The owner wanted a full facade with thermal insulation to cut heating costs and improve the building's appearance. The raw facade had joints that had started cracking.
We installed Knauf Therm Facade 10cm as the thermal layer, Köster Eurolan ID adhesive, waterproof reinforcing mesh, and a final Baumit Granoportop silicate decorative render in 2.0mm grain. Colour RAL 9001 (cream white) with decorative accents in RAL 7016 (anthracite) at the entrance zone.
Scaffolding was up for 12 weeks, so we worked in 3 shifts to minimise disruption to the businesses inside. Finished 5 days ahead of schedule, with all permits and test certificates.
