Restaurant Renovation
How we did it.
A former hardware store in Zemun's pedestrian zone, 180m² with 4m ceilings and original brick walls under several coats of paint. The client needed a fast fit-out to open an Italian restaurant before the tourist season.
We stripped all old shelving and partition walls, sandblasted the brick wall (revealing hand-laid 1920s brickwork, a fantastic aesthetic asset), and installed a new industrial polished-concrete floor with a micro-sealed surface. All utilities (water, electricity, gas) were completely new, dimensioned for a professional kitchen.
Custom bar in reclaimed black oak, 8m long. Kitchen ventilation with grease filters to HACCP standards. Finished 5 days ahead of schedule. The restaurant opened in summer 2024 and became one of the top-rated in Zemun.
